Co-Mate® Chimney Cleaner is made from a blend of naturally occurring mineral compounds, carefully sourced and modified for effect. The manufacturing process does not include any harsh or dangerous chemicals, detergents, or fillers. Co-Mate® may contain a little magic, but we can't confirm or deny that.

Usage Guidelines

For best results, sprinkle Co-Mate® Chimney Cleaner evenly over a fully developed fire. Check regularly for accumulating fallen creosote ash, especially in the first few weeks after starting a Co-Mate® regimen.

Co-Mate® will begin working immediately. Allow 2-3 weeks of regular use before your chimney is fully conditioned to Co-Mate®'s benefits.

Chimney Cleaning:

Wood stoves, fireplaces and fireplace inserts: For the first 14 days, add 2-3 tbsp (28-42 g) into the fire once per day. After 14 days, reduce to 1-2 tbsp (14-28 g) every second or third day the system is in use.

Pellet stoves and furnaces: For each 40 lb. bag of pellets, add 1-2 tbsp (14-28 g) evenly over the top of the pellets in the hopper.

Wood furnaces: Every second day of operation, add 1/4 to 1/2 cup (56-112 g) into the fire. Adjust as needed to maintain efficiency.

System Maintenance / Occasional Use:

How much Co-Mate® you need depends on the design and condition of your heating system, how often you use it, and the type and quality of your fuel. Co-Mate® works best with regular use over time, so how often it is used is more important than the amount. Co-Mate® is completely safe, even in large amounts, so feel free to experiment.

Caution:

Always have your chimney inspected by a trained professional as recommended for your area. In cases of severe creosote buildup, have your chimney professionally cleaned before using Co-Mate® to reduce chances of blockage from falling creosote deposits. In case of eye contact, flush thoroughly with water. If irritation occurs, seek medical advice. Keep out of reach of children.
